Katie is experimenting with sound.

Okay, I know it's not really singing, but Katie is now trying to "talk" to us, and she responds more often when we sing to her. For some reason, she really likes "Old MacDonald" and "Do-Re-Mi" from the Sound of Music. In the video, I was telling her what an octave was, when she started cooing back during my pauses.

A couple of new pictures

Katie is still doing fine. She sleeps through the night, which is great. Best of all, she is really starting to show more personality. She coos and babbles a bit, especially when you sing to her. Of course, she is still almost always calm and pleasant. Cindy and I really are very lucky.

It's unreal how quickly she's grown. Just look at the picture of me burping her last week, as compared to when she was just home from the hospital.













It's stunning to both of us how quickly the time is passing.
